Dr Yang grew up in China and graduated from Dalian Medical University in 2000. Dr Yang has worked in China with a focus on cardiology and neurology, before moving to NZ.
Dr Yang came to Sommerville Surgery after practising in Whanganui for a year.
Currently she is working on her Fellowship with the RNZCGP and is interested in General Medicine, Women’s health and children’s health.

Dr Wen Chow Chan

Dr Chan is a Malaysian born Chinese who graduated from University of Auckland within varying specialities and different hospitals around Auckland. Dr Chan is firm believer in holistic care and wants the best for her patients by keeping up to date with the current evidence based medicine.
Dr Chan loves the outdoors, hanging out with friends and family time with her husband and two young children.

Kris Baxter, Practice Manager
ITIL V3 2011, MPMAANZ
Kris joined the clinic in 2019 having previously managed accounting and legal practices, as well as having worked at the BBC in London in Change Control and IT Team Management.
Kris enjoys volunteering at Pakuranga Tennis Club where he is on the committee as Club Captain and Tournaments Convener, as well as IT support and web master.
